It’s My 7th Season is a song of encouragement, hope and prophecy! The song was born from listening to a series of messages preached by Pastor Agu Irukwu in Church, Jesus House, London, a few years ago.
The message was based on the story of prophet Elijah praying for rain on Mount Carmel, recorded in 1 Kings 18:41-45. (Pastor Agu wrote a book about the message titled “The Blessings of the 7th Season). Elijah told the king that he heard the sound of abundance of rain and he then went on to pray. Elijah then said to his servant to go and look towards the sea for the sign of rain but there was nothing. It was not until the seventh time after the servant went back and forth until the sign of rain was seen, a breakthrough!
From this prophetic word, messages and scriptures, including God’s promise from Isaiah 43 18-19
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”
The Lord gave the inspiration to write the song, and it was recorded live at the Ageless One Concert, performed by minister Kome Udu.
