IT STARTS WITH AN ENCOUNTER

Tai and Yemi long to see the Gospel taken to the ends of the earth through music, bringing, healing, deliverance and freedom to people and causing men and women to draw near to God.

taiTai is married to Yemi (together they are known as Taiyemi) and they are blessed with four children. They are based in the UK. Tai is a chartered  engineer.

“Church is what I have known all my life, hence Gospel music (and the Bible) has a major influence on me”, Tai recalls.

He had the privilege of writing some songs as a young boy but his “quantum leap” in songwriting came in recent years when the Lord asked Tai to seek Him in fasting and prayer at a time he was in Norway. Out of this experience came tons of songs that has been expressed in different genres.

In 2013, Tai and Yemi were called to lead the Ageless One Concert (a gathering of worshippers) where these God-given songs are used in praising and worshipping the Lord. The songs have been released through the Ageless One albums, Healing Always Come and others. The Ageless One concert is an annual worship experience that brings people together from different background and denominations, to worship God as one.

One of Taiyemi’s songs (from the album Taiyemi Live in the Ageless One 2014 Concert) got a national recognition in 2015, when the song was selected and showcased at the Hand in Hand conference/Mission Worship in Eastbourne, UK.

Tai is a graduate of Worship Academy (founded by Chris Bowater and Andy Bromley); there he was privileged to study Biblical music, praise and worship in the context of history and the contemporary Church.

Yemi

Yemi started singing at the age of 7. She is a daughter of a Minister of God and Professor of Religious Studies (Pastor Sam Babs Mala). So, for her, it has always been about Church, people, people and people!

Over the years she has been involved in Gospel music at various levels – mass choirs, musical groups, concerts, as well as leading praise and worship.

Yemi has had the privilege of using her God-given talents in leading praise and worship in Canada, USA, UK, Norway and Nigeria.
She also has a passion for mentoring women; she has been involved in women’s ministry leadership for over a decade.

Yemi has a degree in nursing and she is also a trained journalist.

She writes and also co-write songs with Tai. She is united with her husband in the vision of seeing the world touched by the power of the Gospel through music.
